Micheline Gravel share some buttons, Jan. 2026
Micheline sent some new buttons for our Glorious Buttons Page.
Pink shoe is a real pink button and was made by Diana Wieler — it is an example of the type of shoes worn by women during the 1860s era and is mounted on a postcard from the Bata Shoe Museum. Diana's button is made of pink enamel over copper, with a hand painted floral design, and embellished with a miniature rhinestone buckle.
The paper with the large red buttons is an abstract painting, by Micheline made especially to mount the unusually extra large buttons.
